We’re a mission-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to better mental health care for all.
In the US, we’ve largely gone beyond mental health stigmatization. The problem now is diagnosing and treating the millions of people who are currently suffering without care — and doing so requires a multi-prong approach. Many organizations out there are already helping people who have severe or critical mental health struggles. Our job is on the other end — with those who want to start their mental health journey, but aren’t sure how or don’t have the resources for existing for-profit services.
Nisala has been working in this space ever since he was 13, when he gave a TEDx talk about reducing stigma around mental health. He’s also been working in Computer Science for about as long as he can remember, and he’s currently studying CS at Vanderbilt University on a full ride scholarship.
He’s always been particularly interested in using the power of CS for good — so with his ongoing professional and lived experience with mental health, baseline has been the perfect place for him to combine these fields and use his expertise for good.
